1. How to Set Up Email in Outlook, Gmail, Thunderbird
Setting Up Email in Outlook
- Open Microsoft Outlook and go to File > Add Account.
- Select Manual setup or additional server types and click Next.
- Choose POP or IMAP and click Next.
- Enter your account details:
- Incoming Mail Server:
mail.yourdomain.com - Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):
mail.yourdomain.com - Username: Your full email address.
- Password: Your email account password.
- Click More Settings > Outgoing Server, check "My outgoing server requires authentication."
- Under the Advanced tab:
- IMAP Port: 993 (SSL) or 143 (Non-SSL)
- SMTP Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS)
- Click OK > Next > Finish.
Setting Up Email in Gmail
- Open Gmail and go to Settings > Accounts and Import.
- Click Add a mail account.
- Enter your email address and click Next.
- Select Import emails from my other account (POP3) and click Next.
- Enter your email settings:
- POP Server:
mail.yourdomain.com - Port: 995 (Use SSL)
- Username: Your full email address.
- Password: Your email account password.
- Click Add Account and follow additional steps if sending email through Gmail.
